When I was Building my Z31 I was having an issue with the stock S-Pipe slipping off the turbo and causing issues with letting un-metered air into the intake system and this was causing a rich running condition. The Stock S-Pipe is also one of the most restrictive areas of the Z31 Stock intake system. To do away with this I have made a Pass through solid motor mount that allows for the intake air to the turbo to pass through it as seen below.<\/p>\n

The mount is made from a 1″x 3″ x 1\/8″ Rectangle tube for the base, 4″ Sch 40 Pipe for the center pass through and then 1″x 1 1\/2″ and 3\/16″ Steel for the engine side of the mount.<\/p>\n
