Z31 Anti-Sway Bar Differences
There are two different styles of front anti-sway bars used on USDM Z31. From 1984-1986 Nissan used a horizontal mount front anti-sway bar where the end link is a long bolt with spacers. In 1987, Nissan changed to a vertical mount swaybar. There was three front Anti-Sway Bar sizes available on the 1984 to 1989 USDM 300zx. The following chart will provide the models and size of the sway bar front and rear.

You can also get the NISMO front anti-sway bar that is 26mm in size, part number 54611-23P01. This is the same sway bar that is found on the German Z31s of the same time era.
